LG Chem- Leyou New Energy Materials (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., established in June 2018, is a joint venture between South Korea's LG Chem and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt, mainly producing ternary cathode materials for lithium batteries.

The project with an annual output of 40,000 tons of cathode materials started in February 2019, with a total investment of 2.93 billion yuan, a construction area of about 158,685.3 square meters and a construction area of 64,016 square meters, including 101 and 102 main workshops, 103 warehouses, administrative office buildings and other supporting projects. The project was completed and accepted in April 2020.
